Entertaining people who drink, people who don't drink, and people who are DD's? We have some answers on how to please everyone in 2021, when we can finally, safely, have parties again. We were also having some fun, so we named them after the streets in the neighborhood.

Forrester Frenzy

A spritzer that is everything summer—sweet, woodsy, with just the right amount of "hello, gorgeous".

  • handful of blackberries, washed

  • 1 bottle soda water

  • 1/2 cup ice

  • 3 oz sage simple syrup (recipe below)

  • fresh sage and blackberries for garnish

In a shaker, muddle the blackberries and add the simple syrup. Add gin and ice and shake well. Strain into two highball glasses and top off with the soda water. Garnish with fresh sage and blackberries and serve immediately.

McConnell Mimosas

Ginger and grapefruit make this a beautiful sipper.

  • 1 grapefruit; plus additional grapefruit for garnish

  • 2 cups of ice

  • 3 x 12oz cans of ginger soda

  • handful of fresh basil

  • 1/4 cup simple syrup

Juice one large grapefruit and segment additional grapefruit ofr garnish if preferred. Fill a pitcher half way with ice. Pour soda, fresh grapefruit juice and simple syrup. Mix well. Garnish with grapefruit slices and fresh basil.

Monte Mar Mango Mule

Need we say more?

  • 4-5 slices of cucumber

  • 1 oz honey syrup

  • 1.5 oz mango puree

  • 1.5 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1.5 oz ginger beer

  • Ice

Muddle cucumber and honey syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the mango puree and lime juice and shake with ice vigorously. Strain into a copper mug. Top with ginger beer and stir.

Guthrie Gimlet

Did someone say cucumber and lime? Yes. Yes they did.

  • 1.5 oz club soda

  • 4-5 slices of muddled cucumber

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Serve in a rocks glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a rolled cucumber slice.

Motor Margarita

Like a margarita, but lighter, because that's how we roll with watermelon.

  • 1 medium seedless watermelon, cut into chunks

  • .5 cup fresh lime juice

  • 4 tsp agave

  • 5 tbsp sparking water

In a blender, puree enough watermelon chunks so that you have 4 cups of watermelon puree. Add lime juice and agave and mix again. Pour into 4 cups. Top with sparkling water.
